I've never been...social. In fact most would say that I'm rather anti-social, although, to my reasoning that isn't true. If asked a direct question, I can answer and engage in lengthy conversations quite easily. I simply find social meetings to be places where people stand about and talk about themselves. What they've done, where they've been, where they plan to go and hope to do. I've never felt the need to discuss myself, and, if anyone were to meet me in public they'd find that I'm usually the one observing. I'm more prone to asking questions than volunteering random information. Many have heard more from me on this blog than they've ever had in public, which came as quite a shock.
It's not that I have nothing to say, or have no interest in a broad range of subjects. It is merely that most spend so much time volunteering random information to make conversation that no one questions. So, no, I'm not anti-social, I just have not been asked the right questions...l.

I could have written that :)
